Welcome to Cove Camping: the fuss free campsite at Hope Cove in Devon

Need a break from screens, stress, and the same old scenery? Grab the kids (and the dog!) and head to Cove Camping – our chilled, pop-up campsite just five minutes from the beach!

We’re set on a working Devon farm, so your neighbours might baa at you! You’ll get a spacious pitch, fresh air, and simple eco facilities – compost loos, hot showers, and a washing-up spot. No thrills, just everything you need!

From your tent, you’re a short stroll to beachy vibes, pub grub, and coastal walks. Want to explore further? Cute towns like Salcombe and Kingsbridge are just 15 minutes away. Easy, breezy camping in a stunning part of Devon.

Please be aware, there is a current ban on all fires, firepits, and BBQs including disposable ones. Only gas camping stoves are permitted, safely raised from the ground and monitored at all times. Smoking is also highly discouraged.

Perfect views out to sea, lovely to be able to walk into Hope Cove. Good, clean facilities on a quiet site.

Fantastic site with amazing views over the cove, the sunsets were beautiful. Only a handful of pitches which means it is quiet and lots of space for kids to run around in safety. Showers and toilets were basic but well maintained and worked well for the size of the site. If you’re looking for a simple site in a good location, this is the one!

Really great spot- just a quick walk into town! will be coming back. showers and toilets were well maintained and had a rustic feel. the views were AMAZING and the proximity to hope cove was perfect. we loved it so much! booked through pitch up, the owners sent a text on arrival day with instructions that were very easy to follow, we found everything very easily. they visit the site daily and although we didn’t run into them we felt that if we’d have had any issues they would have been on hand to help. pitches were well laid out and spacious. we will definitely be coming back!

Amazing views and great service. The site is unmanned but Alice is just a phone call away. There was an issue with the showers and she was fixing them within minutes of us texting. The loos are compost loos so if you don’t fancy those this isn’t the site for you but if you want incredible views and peace and quiet with minimum fuss - you’ll love it!

Spectacular views of the Devon coast. We were able to sit outside in the sun and enjoy the views and total peace and quiet. Site is convenient for coastal path. A short downhill walk to Hove. The facilities are basic but clean and functional with plenty of hot water for showers. The compost toilets were not a problem.

Location - great wee walk down to Hope Cove, beautiful path past the church.
Views - couldn't have asked for a better panorama of the coastline, to watch the sun set.
Facilities - great, effective toilets. Taps in one place. Easy. Didn't use the showers, so can't comment.
Access - very easy to get to and out of. Was the perfect campsite for us and our 3.5 year old
